Reviews
Great neighborhood coffee bar with yummy food options. I usually get the ice matcha latte and it is delicious. Laid back vibes. It can get real busy Sunday around brunch time so keep that in mind.
A quick visit for coffee, lauded by the locals!
I had a breakfast sandwich, which was probably one of the best if not the best I’ve ever had in a ‘coffee cafe’. Highly recommended.
I also had a simple double express, dark, with a bit of fruit, and slightly sour. A perfect brew for a milk drink I think. But good enough to be ordered by itself.
everything was so good i want to go back soon. i got the french toast bread pudding and a chai latte! next time i want to try the avocado toast because my mom got it and said it was so good. lovely vibes too
Great place to stop for coffee and breakfast. Ordered the regular breakfast sandwich, pancakes, a vanilla latte, and cappuccino. The sandwich was $9 and on the smaller side, but tasted great and had fresh ingredients! The pancakes had an orange zest and spicy essence which was unique. The coffee drinks were good as well and they use house made syrups! The menu isn’t updated and syrup is now a $0.65 up charge. They serve Kin-Kin coffee and you get a free shot of espresso when you buy a bag! Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and lovely staff. Will be back!
For me, JPH checks all the boxes for what i need in a coffeehouse- lots of vegetarian/vegan options, good roasts, and friendly staff. I’m flex-vegan so opted for the sassy toast (delicious- briny, spicy, savory, all balanced in flavors and textures). They also serve Level 5s! (Vegan donuts). Easy endorsement for travelers and/or locals whom never been.
Lots of laptops set up with the lagging lunch crowd … but it does not deter from the simple but pleasant atmosphere of the hidden gem. GREAT FOOD with a capital “G” from a relatively small menu. They offer a full menu of hot coffee drinks but limited on cold drinks. Still, a great find and would come back, repeatedly.
Great place to eat, it was great coffee and very nice place to relax. I will go back again. It is affordable and great place to talk to people with kind ownership along with nice college students. It's a very busy place yet it stands out I hope they get more coffee to sell. I hope to see the place grow over the next year. I found it an Ethical place for people to come and go as they please. I really enjoyed my sandwich and my brother loved his sandwich also. Fresh food and lemonade.
There’s a reason locals consistently mention JPH as a top coffee shop in town. The staff are super friendly and the espresso it top notch. Hot or iced lattes are perfect with their selection of syrups. Never too sweet and just the right amount of spice. My favorite thing is reading the “let me buy you a drink” board while I wait to order. Makes me smile every time and highlights the community they’ve built in their space.
